My Neurodivergent mind (ND-affirming education group) - Ages 7+
Has your child just received a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD? Are you unsure how to discuss this diagnosis or not sure what it means? Are you looking for a way to educate your child on their needs? If so, you are not alone. We understand that a diagnosis can be overwhelming and oftentimes there are limited support options to help you process and make sense of this important information about your child. The My Neurodivergent Mind group is for you. During this group we work with both parents and children and cover topics such as: what is neurodiversity and what does it mean to be neurodivergent? What is my unique communication? What are important things for my teacher to know about me? How can my support people help? And much more… The group also includes 2 x 1hr parent sessions packed with helpful information about supporting your neurodivergent kiddo, while meeting other parents and caregivers too.
-
Creative Feelings Group - Ages 8-12 Tweens group & Ages 13-16 Teens group
Does your child like creative expression through art, music, drama, movement or anything else? This group is a way for young people to practice emotional regulation skills, make friends and build confidence through creative mediums. Young people also don’t need to be creative to do the group, they just need to be willing to participate in some seriously fun creative activities. The 6-week group is also followed by a parent information session on continuing to support your child in this way.

Adult Neurodivergent Group
This group is designed for adults who are Neurodivergent, and focuses on acceptance, understanding and management of living life with a different brain. The group is neurodiversity-affirming, and a place where ND is celebrated. It is also facilitated by an ND. Being part of this group will allow NDer adults to be peer supported, plan through organisational difficulties, learn to unpack some of the thoughts and beliefs they have picked up throughout life as an NDer, and look at themselves differently. The final week invites NDers to bring a loved one, if they wish, to get to know their support needs and awesome identity on a new level. The group goes for 8 weeks on an evening in person at The Psych Hive.
-
Tabletop Titans (Board Game Club) – Ages 8+

Each session the group learns how to play a new game while working on turn-taking, emotional regulation, communication, and having fun! Later in the term, children are asked to bring a game from home to share with the group.
